***I Hate You***

He loved me and cared for me... or so I thought.
You left me to believe
that I was yours
and I’d have you forever
you told me I was the only one
your shining girl

But that changed in one breath
the last breath I’ll take for good
cause I died that night
my soul lifted
it freed me from it all

I thought life was good
when I was yours
but that was a lie
a blanket
pulled over my eyes

A girl drowned in a lie
of love
and she'll sink
and hit rock bottom
just like her life
and love
