Holy Kailash and Manasarover
A yatra to the Holy Manasarover Lake in Tibet and the Parikrama of the Majetic Kailash Mountain is an experience of a lifetime.
Delhi Airport -- 8th June 2006
A group of about 30 people assembled at the Delhi airport on 8th June 2006 to Board the Indian Airlines flight to Kathmandu scheduled to depart at 2.30 PM. This group would join the other members of the group who had earlier travelled by Jet Airways. The purpose of the group was to undertake the Holy Kailash - Manasarover yatra situated in the Chinese occupied Tibet.
Little did this group of people at Delhi airport expect that the next 17 days of their lives would have so much of excitements, thrills, suspenses, pleasures and at the end of it all a sense of fulfillment.
At about 2.45 PM came the announcement asking the Passangers bound for Kathmandu by Indian Airlines Flight to pass through Security to Board the flight.
As Sankaran, who is associated with KBS Consultants accompanied by his wife Jayashree Sankaran got up to Board the flight, there was another announcement
