Tara Reid to Take the Stand?

Recently single and poised for the upcoming release of the much-anticipated sequel, American Pie II, Tara Reid has become the latest focus of investigators who are trying to piece together exactly what transpired in the Hamptons a few weeks ago. It has been revealed that Tara attended a party with Grubman before the incident, even though Tara spent the rest of her evening at Jet East, while Grubman moved on to the now-infamous Conscience Point.

Police are interested in Reid's account of Grubman's behavior at the party, a bash thrown at the house of financier Alex Von Furstenberg. "She was with Lizzie at a party before she went to Conscience Point," a law-enforcement source was quoted as saying. "She's potentially a witness as to what was going on and what Lizzie was drinking" before the accident. Although Tara's lawyer said his client plans to cooperate fully with the investigation, he doesn't think she'll be able to shed too much light on what went down before Lizzie got to the club.

At the moment, Tara is out of the country on vacation and has been unable to be reached for comment. Police have also stated that they are going to talk to as many people as possible that attended Von Furstenberg's beach party prior to the incident. Although he only invited about 50 people, Von Furstenberg said that at least an additional 100 people showed up and crashed the party.
