No Relation

The freezing rain is pouring down,
All over me, throughout the town,
But still I stand in the middle of the street,
The exact spot he said we would meet,
The very first time our lips came together,
It was then that he said he’d love me forever.
Many a time we laughed and cried,
We said we’d be together ‘till the day we died.
Then what did he do? He threw it all away!
He didn’t see me watching him that day.
I saw him with a girl I’d never met,
While I was standing in the rain; soaking wet.
I could feel my life being washed away,
And still I replay that everyday.
Everything he did… I really don’t care,
I still want to be with him,
I miss playing with his hair,
But we can never be together ‘coz you moved on,
And I can’t take the pain,
This battle you won.
From this day forward, I leave you alone,
