Odd Couple: Janet Jackson & Justin Timberlake

The two who are reportedly "just friends" have been seen acting like more than that. Jackson and Timberlake have been collaborating on a single for Timberlake’s upcoming debut solo album and sources say they have been working very closely. Although friends say they aren’t dating and claim that they are just "having fun."

The odd couple was recently spotted getting "freaky" on the dance floor at the Lounge in Los Angeles on June 27. That same night the two were reportedly making out like "teenager,s" which isn’t surprising since Justin, at 21, was recently in his teens. Wonder if he had to remind Janet, 36, of what it was like to act like a teen. Sorry Miss Jackson…Timberlake’s most recent "gal pal," dancer Jenna Dewan danced in Jackson’s All for You tour and accompanied Timberlake to Jackson’s birthday party in Miami on May 19. Timberlake reportedly told Dewan that his connection to Jackson was "all business – a good PR move."

*NSyncer Timberlake has been all over the place these past few months. Embarking on his first solo album, breaking up with the princess of pop – Britney Spears - and reportedly dating a string of beauties since, including Alicia Keys. His star is clearly still on the rise. Maybe hooking up with Janet is just a good PR move, or maybe it is more. Nothing is surprising in Hollyweird anymore. A word of advice for Justin - stay away from Janet’s older "brother" Michael.
