Dead Men Tell No Tale
This is by far the best poem I ever wrote. It is filled with pure hate and anger ... If you read it, after close your eyes and imagine what it said. It'll make a perfect picture in your mind ...
Dew on the leafs
Dark clouds all around
Thunder rolling overhead
Lightning guiding the way
Earthquakes are the earth’s sign of fear.
Guns in our hands
Ripped clothing on our backs
Shoes warn with travel
Hair dirty from battle
Skin black from the storms.
War was said to be the only way
But more of us just died
Peace seemed to vanish into the abyss
Faith was lost
And replaced with vengeance
And love was killed by hate
Blood seemed to over take water on the surface
Bones ... Were more than trees that could be found
Death was more then life
Souls vanished and with it came grim
Purple lights replaced white
Our battle was one of mine
Opposing had more power and anger
But or fallen hearts could not be broken anymore
Taking our positions on the blood covered field
We prepared for more rather and more pain
Clamping my fists tight
Wiping the sweat from my head
Eyes focused on them
My mouth sealed shut
Waiting for it ...
Coming for us they were
It was not going to end like this
Not one of us would survive
Not on of them would survive
This was the life we chose
The life I chose ...
As I stare into there deep red eyes
As I see there black shadowed body
Fog covered the ground
And the world seemed to stop
Lightning halted in its tracks
Earthquakes silenced
Thunder stopped .... For only a moment
Then it shoot its power through the ground
Wind blowing harshly with fear
Taking to the battle
Watching my soldiers collapse
Watching the creatures rip them apart
My gun did no good
My fist went through them
I was fighting pain, and pain you could not fight
At least with no light
Then after I was the only one left to stand
They came to me
Looking deeply into there eyes ...
Just to see me
The monster, the demon I had created
And I had killed everything good of me ...
Lifting there shadowed bodies
Slashing down through me
Blood ... Pain ... Anger ... Fear
Leaked from me ...
The battle for me was done
Turning away they would destroy everything
Trudging through the mud filled with blood
They would sail
But how would I know ... Dead men tell no tale
Dark clouds all around
Thunder rolling overhead
Lightning guiding the way
Earthquakes are the earth’s sign of fear.
Guns in our hands
