Bad Bad Russell Crowe
Sources say that reformed Hollywood bad boy Russell Crowe has recently been up to his old tricks while on location.
Since marrying Danielle Spencer and becoming a father, Russell Crowe has calmed down considerably. There have been no reports of raucous behavior, no drunken brawls, and no reports of any inappropriate behavior with any woman other than his wife. Until now. It seems the Gladiator star has been accused of manhandling women in a Canadian bar while on location filming his upcoming boxing flick Cinderella Man.
Some Toronto locals reportedly witnessed a drunken Crowe "groping" women at Hemingway’s Bar. A local message board was flooded with entries about Crowe’s behavior. Some of the entries were posted in the newspaper. One read, "There he is, last night…hammered out of his skull at Hemingway’s in Yorkville…hitting on everything that moves. I mean right out there in the open, hands all over girls’ legs, begging girls not to leave, trying to kiss girls…then someone takes his lighter, and Mr. Big shot a**hole starts yelling and screaming, calling people bitches…then Mr. I need to be center of attention at all times takes his shirt off and starts singing…this guy is just a complete loser."
Not so, says bar owner Martin McSkimming. He does confirm that Crowe was at the bar, but says he "behaved himself." McSkimming says it was "blown out of proportion" and if there had been trouble he would not "tolerate" it. Maybe a year of acting like a loving hubby and more recently a doting father proved to be too much for the Aussie firecracker. The "freedom" of being on location could have led the actor down the dark path of womanizing, fisticuffs, and drunken binges.
