Paris Hilton Settles Lawsuit

Hilton and Salomon have come to an agreement over their infamous foray into the porn industry. Hilton has allegedly come to terms with the embarrassing video and has agreed to drop her lawsuit in exchange for a slice of the "pie." A source close to the action says that Salomon and Red Light District Video agreed to pay Hilton upwards of $400,000 and a percentage of the sales of the video aptly titled One Night in Paris. In return, Salomon has dropped his lawsuit that claimed Hilton and her representatives defamed him. Aw, poor baby! Marty Singer, Salomon's lawyer, has confirmed the settlement but refused to discuss specifics.

It’s the classic story. Boy meets girl. Boy and girl videotape themselves doing the horizontal mambo. Tape is "stolen" and plastered on the Internet. Boy profits. Now girl wants in on the action. Money has a funny way of changing people’s minds. The video, made three years ago when Hilton was 19, quickly became the most requested amateur porn ever released. Hilton was even spotted purchasing a copy of her own.

For those worried that Hilton is using this to get even richer, don’t worry. A friend of Hilton's was quoted as saying, "Paris is certainly not capitalizing on the tape. She has insisted that an ample portion of the proceeds are donated to charity." You have to wonder what will happen if the other videos rumored to star Hilton in compromising positions ever surface. Depending on how many other tapes exist, she may be able to fund quite a few charities.
