Julia "Diva" Roberts

Actress Julia Roberts, who shot to fame in the early 90’s and has had a healthy film career ever since, has been thought to be one of the nicest stars in Hollywood. Some of her co-stars paint a different picture. Her co-star on 1994’s I Love Trouble, Nick Nolte, wants the world to know that Roberts isn’t as sweet as she seems. Roberts has referred to Nolte as "a disgusting human being." Well, how do you really feel Julia? Nolte retaliated with, "It’s not nice to call someone ‘disgusting.’ But she’s not a nice person. Everyone knows that."

Jeff Garlin, one of Roberts co-stars in the film Full Frontal, told the British magazine Closer, "I said to her, ‘It’s an honor to work with you’ and she couldn’t have been more dismissive. She talked to everyone in the room but me.’" Roberts seemed to prove her not-so-nice-ness prior to being married to husband Danny Moder. Moder was still married when he and Roberts began romancing. Roberts took a public swipe at Moder’s then-wife, Vera, by wearing a tee shirt that read A Low Vera because Vera was reluctant to grant Moder a divorce. Ouch, Julia!

Reports of Roberts’ jealousy and hot temper have kept the rumor mill buzzing. Reportedly before their marriage, Roberts threw Moder out of the house they were sharing in a jealous rage. Most recently there were reports of a tantrum thrown by Roberts when she learned that her hubby was flirting with actress Kirsten Dunst. Maybe she has to keep such close tabs on her hubby because, as they say, "once a cheater…always a cheater." Did Julia believe that even though Danny cheated on his wife with her, he wouldn’t cheat on her? Maybe she should have thought about that before she married him! It seems America’s "sweetheart" ain’t all that sweet!
