Big Brother Contestant Booted
Big Brother 4 contestant Scott Weintraub, a Chicago waiter, was booted from the show after a temper tantrum and some furniture tossing.
Another reality "star" behaving badly gets the boot! With the craze of reality shows, there are bound to be some scandals. From For Love or Money’s Paige’s drunk driving arrests and Rob’s drunken groping of a female officer to American Idol’s Frenchie posing for a porn site to Corey getting the boot for allegedly attacking his sister. Now comes Big Brother 4’s Scott Weintraub being booted from the house after a temper tantrum, which included throwing some kitchen furniture.
Executive producer Arnold Shapiro said in a statement, "I don’t want anyone to think Scott is a bad guy, because he certainly isn’t. He just didn’t respond well to the Big Brother experience and displayed some unacceptable behavior. We determined this was the right move to make for him and the other house guests." The outburst scared the housemates, which led to his ousting from the show. Weintraub, for his part, after refusing to report to the "Diary room" did apologize to his housemates explaining that his tantrum is a result of a sexually transmitted disease. Oh! That explains it! Weintraub admitted to having Human Papilloma Virus (genital warts) and said having his ex-girlfriend, Amanda, in the house proved to be too much pressure. He just snapped!
Weintraub claims he has not had an HPV break-out for a year and also said, "Seeing Amanda here has brought me back to the time we broke up. She has been able to go on with her life and I haven’t. Part of me loves her being here, part of me doesn’t." The powers that be at CBS decided to shake up the Big Brother house by forcing ex-lovers to live under one roof among other singles, calling this season’s installment The Ex Factor. It seems the close proximity proved too much for one of the ex’s, which led to his departure despite his apology and his ex’s plea! No dice according to the other roomies.
