Halle Berry’s Rocky Love History

Word on the street is that Halle Berry’s husband, Eric Benet, has been cheating on her and the Academy Award winning actress told him to get help or get out. Sources say that Benet began cheating only six months into their picture perfect marriage and has had affairs with more than 10 women. Benet reportedly checked into a rehab clinic in Arizona called "The Meadows" in early June and supposedly Berry has contacted a lawyer in the event that things do not change for the better.

Berry and Benet seemed to have the perfect marriage. In the public eye they seem so loving and supportive of one another. Just goes to show that you never really know what is going on behind closed doors and behind the smiles on the famous faces. Berry and Benet became engaged in 1999 and were married in a secret ceremony in 2001. This is Berry’s second marriage and the first for Benet who has a daughter, India, from a previous relationship.

Berry has not had much luck in the love department. She lost 80% of her hearing in her right ear after being beaten by an abusive ex-boyfriend whom she refuses to name since he is a well-known actor. Berry’s first marriage to baseball player David Justice ended in divorce with claims of infidelity and physical abuse against him. Justice reportedly said in a recent interview that her character in Monster’s Ball was not a stretch for Berry to play. He said she was unstable and jealous. Is this the price one pays for having everything else…to be unlucky in love?
