War and Death

Parts from the world wars 1 and 2. Please read it, show your respect for the men of the war who fought for us…
They march n run there way down the field
Jumping behind hay and walls
Using what they can for a shield
To protect them from the enemy
Young and old forced to leave there family behind
Many don’t return home, now two minutes in and
The enemies are firing shots and spears
There only young, already handling there own gun
As young as sixteen, innocent but not free
Bangs over here bangs over there
Four minutes in, blood and corpses everywhere
Nine hundred men marched down that field 7minutes ago, how many will be going back
More gun shots and bangs pierce the sky
There fighting for there lives now
Are they going to die?.. Time to say bye?
Men all over the place screaming in pain
Men trying to help there friends that have been gunned down.. Searching for a pulse.. Too late
There gone.. Al that’s left is there corpse n blood
Men all over seen there best friends .. Brothers.. Dads.
Their own family drop to the ground, all over the place sirens screaming yelling of 'man down'
15minutes later... The enemies take there lead off the field, free to return to there families
But what about the men fighting for us?
900 men marched down that hill
Less than 30 marched back up
Just 22 minutes before.. All were alive
They fought for us and died
There wives and children, little brothers sisters all
At home awaiting there return.. Only they wouldn’t be returning...

- Be happy the war is over... don’t take your family for granted, what would you do if you or your family had to join the army for a world war 3, these young men who went to war didn’t have the opportunity to see there families again, we could all show a bit of respect and that we remember them by a one minute silence for the men of world war 1.. and 2 minutes for men of world war 2 .

What do you think of the minute silences in memory of those who fought in the wars?
its pointless
I think its good, it shows we remember them
it doesn’t do them any justice
they ain't here, so what's the point ?
