Online Cigarette Sales are a hot topic

This is one of the most important current online battles going on between entrepenures and the government. Many people are buying cigarettes online to avoid exceedingly high taxes.

In raising these taxes the government has created a booming online industry. They rarely wish to speak of it as just mentioning it can sometimes cost them hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue.

While there is no clear solution to the governments' problems thousands of people are saving millions, if not billions of dollars by buying their cigarettes online.

On a principal level it comes down to the fact that the web is designed for the free travel of information end to end. No single country can stop this as even China is increasing in internet exposure every day.

If the US government decides to control the internet it will only be wasting resources. It will fail.
