I Used To Be Like You ...

Okay I'm in high school and you all see these preps, sluts and whores. That you think are so great to be like or act like, or to point out ... Well you people are so wrong, read and figure it out.
Punk, Rebel, Goth;
I'm a mix of all these things.
I used to be like you;
A prep, a slut, a whore.
A trick in this teenage world;
You get the a's and the talent;
The dreams the hope ...

But I got the power to crush your dreams and hope;
The anger to destroy your talent;
And those a's don't mean a thing if you got nothing to grow on ...
Oh yeah, I used to be like you;
A prep, a slut, a whore;

But I realized I got dreams, hope, talents and a's
Without you judging me everyday;
Without the tears and the threats;
Without all the sh*t like that.

But one thing extra, that you will never have
Is a soul that's my own.
Not that everybody shares - I’m on my own.
And that's the way it is with me;
And if that upsets you;
Learn to let go, cause I won’t change for;
A prep, a slut, a whore;
That thinks just like the girl before.
