Chic Steep or Chic Cheap?

Today’s Fashions are wonderful and a few of the knock-offs are great for those who can’t afford the designer’s brand. I am always on the look out for a great reasonably priced quality product, that can be paired with a more expensive item. While there are great knock-offs out there, here are a few helpful tips on choosing what’s best for you.

> When going for cheaper versions, choose a piece that can be added to a more expensive item, that way you will still look chic, fabulous, and as if you paid way more for your item.

> Pay attention to the stitching and the irregularity of the item. Make sure pant legs and shirt sleeves are of the same length.

> Shoes are wonderful and wouldn’t we all love to purchase Manolo Blahniks, Steve Maddens, or Jimmy Choos every single day. When choosing a cheaper version of shoes, make sure the shoe doesn’t look cheap, as they tend to run very large and will have your feet looking life ducks.

> Cheap Jewelry will either turn the area worn on green or you will breakout in hives, splurge a little if you can. Cheaper versions of Wooden Bangles and Necklaces are okay or any other handmade accessory.

> Handbags are great! I’ve seen some very ugly knock-offs of logo handbags such as Gucci & Louis Vuitton. The fake Louis Vuitton Handbag has an XL on it as opposed to the LV and the Gucci Handbag has Pucci or Cucci or some or another (it is just horrendous). It will be in your best interest, if you are a Glamazon like myself, to just purchase the real thing! Invest....you’ll be glad that you did!

Choosing cheaper versions of products are okay if that’s all you can afford, but if you can invest in an item, such as a great pair of fitting jeans, please do so. You will thank me later. An item that is of great quality and fit are must-haves for every woman. She should have in her closet: a great pair of fitting jeans, several pairs of 4-Inch or better Stilettos, eloquent black or red dress, tailored business suits, and they should all accentuate her best assets. Get started on your wardrobe and don’t forget to choose clothing that best suits your true personality!
