~~~Flies On The Floor~~~
Flies on the floor. When I thought it was safe. Dark shadows.
Flies on the floor. Buzzing around
Reminding me what’s in store.
Reminding me why I have chosen this fate.
As I face this,
Forgive me
You said you loved me but
You lied.
Stepping on flies.
Dead ones.
Lizards crawling up the steps.
Of my child hood.
Of my future.
Cracks in my skin.
A rack of knives.
Me... Heading to the ground.
Falling with nothing to break it.
But your hate seeps through my blood.
Crawling through my bones.
I meet the flies on the floor.
