Holmes and Cruise have reportedly agreed on a prenuptial agreement that will net the actress $3 million per every year they are married up to $33 million. She will also get a mansion in Montecito, California. If the couple, and it is a big if, stays married for longer than eleven years, the pre-nup is void and per California’s community property law Holmes is entitled to half of Cruise’s fortune. It has also been reported that even if Cruise and Holmes do not marry, a $15 million trust has been set up for Holmes and the couple’s daughter.

Maybe Holmes isn’t as dumb as she has appeared since she began dating Cruise. Seems as if she and her newborn daughter Suri will be taken care of for life. And all she has to do is try and stay married to Cruise. Not too shabby! Source say that Holmes’ parents were completely against the idea of her marrying Cruise and have tried to dissuade her from going through with it, but have since realized that marrying him would be the only way to go. A source said, "Katie’s family has always been very skeptical about their romance. They were shocked that she got pregnant so quickly and didn’t like the ways he turned her back on Catholicism for Scientology." The source also said that the family is much more supportive knowing that Holmes and her daughter will be taken care of financially.

The couple began dating in April 2005 and within one year had become engaged and had a child. Holmes gave birth to their daughter, Suri, on April 19. Cruise and Holmes are reportedly planning to tie the knot in July in a lavish ceremony.
