Cameron Diaz Dumps Timberlake

Reportedly, Diaz, 31, feels as if her relationship with Timberlake, 23, is "holding back" her career. A source close to Diaz said, "It’s over. The problem is she isn’t really taken seriously in Hollywood because she’s dating a pop star. Cameron feels she stands a better chance of taking her career to the next level without him." There is nothing like true love, huh?

She allegedly pulled the plug on their year-long romance two weeks ago at the Cannes Film Festival after Timberlake asked her to move in with him. Sources close to Diaz claim she ended things before they became too serious. Were they not serious for the past year? Justin must have been surprised by the break-up since he wanted to live together. Although Diaz has said in the past, "I love living alone. I don’t think I could live with anybody. I hang out with my cats. I make time for myself. That’s a major part for me in balancing my life."

In April, shortly before her split with actor Jared Leto, Diaz and Timberlake hung out at the Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards and then headed off to dance at a Los Angeles hotspot, AD. A few days later, they partied together at the burlesque club Forty Deuce. They then went their separate ways - he embarked on a tour, and she vacationed in Hawaii before promoting her film Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle. After they returned to L.A., their romance blossomed. Now it seems the party is over.
