Feeling from your Heart
Most of the times we found mismatch in understanding by our heart and mind. We see it happening but still we don’t want to believe it. It is just like storm hides the sky from our sight. We see only storm at moment. Once storm calms down and we can see the beautiful sky again.
What we see from heart is just like pleasing sky and what we see from mind is harsh reality.
One of best friends put me in similar situation where my both sights were totally different. He was rude, harsh, proud and strict whenever I see from my mind. But when I saw him from my inner deep feelings I found him my life’s best teacher. I learn a lot about the world’s realities. Probably whatever he did was purposefully. When I believed my heart, he was quite peaceful, helpful and kind person. Anyway till date I am in confusion. Let’s hope for good! He was what my heard said!
Helen Keller said " The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart."
A newborn baby feels safe when it is with its mother. Why? It really doesn’t take any help from mind. Heart functions first, minds understand later. That’s why Frank Lloyd Wright says, " The heart is the first feature of working minds."
We all free whenever our hearts feel free. We are similar to newborn baby. Vernon Baker defines home through heart. " Where is home? Home is where the heart can laugh without shyness. Home is where the heart's tears can dry at their own pace."
Understanding comes from heart and not from mind. When our mind makes us selfish, heart makes us generous. "See from another’s point of view" – is taught by our heart. Mind just takes our points while making decision. Heart touches and feels other heart and makes true decision.
Roberta Sage Hamilton said "In our deepest moments of struggle, frustration, fear, and confusion, we are being called upon to reach in and touch our hearts. Then, we will know what to do, what to say, how to be. What is right is always in our deepest heart of hearts. It is from the deepest part of our hearts that we are capable of reaching out and touching another human being. It is, after all, one heart touching another heart."
Heart is a platform from where we start loving some one. I start thinking of my lovely days that I spent with my sister. Every one of us loves someone. Say you love your parents, wife, children, brother, sister or if nothing then your cat or dog. Work out an exercise. Think of someone you love most. You try to recall each and every pleasant moment you spent with you loved once. You will feel good. Your face will start smiling. You can touch your deeper heart feeling when you focus to your heart. You may think from your mind but smiling and happiness departure from your heart.
It is felt that we put ourselves in problems getting weaken our heart. Any disturbance and unhappiness is also created from heart. Negative forces weaken our heart. Dr. Charles H. Mayo said "Worry affects the circulation, the heart, the glands, the whole nervous system, and profoundly affects heart action." When we cry, tears come from our eyes but in reality we cry from our heart rather eyes. If we want to stop such forces, we need to spread positive forces of happiness over our hearts always. There is a Chinese saying. "If I keep a green bough in my heart, then the singing bird will come." Living life in great sense is to keep our heart garden green.
"One of the hardest things in life is having words in your heart that you can't utter" says James Earl Jones. We find ourselves dumb and stupid if we fail expressing our feelings. Even those who are good communicators face such problems. This is because feelings rise from heart. Love, emotions and feelings are heard to express since having their deep relations with our heart.
Anything that results from heart is likely to be strong and tough. If you can’t utter, understand it. Think from your heart before making any decision. Mind is part of human body. Heart is part of soul. Ralph Waldo Emerson said "What your heart thinks is great, is great. The soul's emphasis is always right." All physical things have relations with human body. Soul is independent from every material thing in the world. Heart connects human body to soul that enables human life. So next time no need to think much just believe your heart. Chandogya Upanishad says, "There is a light that shines beyond all things on earth, beyond the highest, the very highest heavens. This is the light that shines in your heart". That light or soul is nothing but great divine.
Charles Chestnut said, "The workings of the human heart are the profoundest mystery of the universe. One moment they make us despair of our kind, and the next we see in them the reflection of the divine image."
