Katie Holmes Gushes Over Tom Cruise

Okay, we get it. Tom Cruise loves Katie Holmes. Katie Holmes loves Tom Cruise. It just seems a little weird how quickly and publicly their relationship has developed. Cruise, who is normally pretty reserved, has been acting like a lovesick teenager since the Holmes romance went public. After his memorable appearance on Oprah, Cruise and Holmes have been all over the place together, swapping spit, professing their love for one another, and discussing marriage.

Holmes said of Cruise, "I just feel so lucky to know him. It's such a privilege to love him. That's how I feel." She continued to gush, "There are so many people who are so happy for us. And we're so happy. We're really enjoying each other. I miss him when he leaves the room. I miss him right now. I love being with him every second of the day." Oh, puh-leeze…Holmes descried Cruise as "the most amazing man I have ever met." She said when asked if she was engaged to Cruise, "Look, I can’t lie. We have to talk about that, Tom and I…but I’m…it just makes me smile when you say that."

As for the Scientology aspect, Cruise has apparently been trying to convert Holmes to his belief in Scientology. When asked about Scientology, Holmes said, "I’m learning about it. And I’m excited." Reportedly, the bigwigs at Warner Bros. are not happy and fear that her relationship with Cruise will have a negative impact. A source said that "an entourage of Scientologists" accompanied Holmes during a press junket for Batman Begins. The source added, "At lunch, Tom came and after he left, his sister [and publicist] Lee Anne Devette sat in on all of [Holmes’] interviews. The producers and Warner Bros. are freaking out. They are worried Tom’s bad PR is going to rub off." Can’t wait to see how all of this plays out in the future. Cruise may be cruising for a loss of some fans and friends if he doesn’t stop pushing his Scientology beliefs all over the place. As for his relationship with Holmes, it still seems a bit fishy.
