*Scared*
Just something I wrote because this is how I felt about me and my boyfriend! Not a very good poem but it was something to do! Please tell me what you think!
You turn, you look at me
But I turn away
Scared of what you might truly see
Scared you might really love me
Cause if you love me and I love you
You can hurt me
By ripping my heart out
And leaving me there to die
And running away with my dreams and hopes for us
Scaring my heart and never letting me get back up again
So I take my love for you and run hard and fast away from you
Using any excuse to tell you I have to go
So I can save us the pain of love!
But I turn away
