Mary-Kate Olsen: Coke Addict?

On the heels of the announcement that Mary-Kate Olsen has entered rehab to deal with her battle with anorexia, now sources say that she is getting help for her cocaine addiction as well. Mary-Kate is currently being treated at the Cirque Lodge in Utah, which is known for its new-age intensive therapy approach to treating drug addiction. Her father, Dave Olsen, checked her into the facility on June 11, two days before her 18^th birthday, which she celebrated alone.

The 30-day program costs $29,850 and allows patients to come and go as they please if their counselors give them a pass. MK’s sister, Ashley, recently spoke about her twin’s fight to get better. Ashley said, "She’s been struggling for quite awhile. She is taking the time she needs for herself. Right now is especially a good time right before school so she can get healthy." All reports are that Mary-Kate is doing well and the family is very appreciative of how supportive the fans have been.

Their friend and former co-star, John Stamos, revealed recently that he was shocked when he heard about Mary-Kate’s struggle. He said, "They were at my house recently and Mary-Kate seemed in great shape. They’re gonna be fine. If that’s the worst that can happen, they’re still in good shape." Did he not notice her spine and ribs poking through her skin? There have been many reports of the twins’ hard partying ways; one has to wonder if it indeed led to a drug addiction for Mary-Kate. Hopefully rehab will help her overcome her demons before the twins head off to college in the fall.
