Rancic Moves On

Rancic met Scheft at a charity event and they went out on a few dates. Unfortunately, they decided that things were not going to work out. Scheft is best known for winning The Bachelor Andrew Firestone’s heart. The two enjoyed a 10-month engagement before calling it quits last December. Sources say that she did not like his demanding schedule and was uncomfortable being in the public eye.

That may be why Rancic and Scheft have decided not to pursue a relationship. A source close to Scheft says, "Bill’s very busy with his new job [managing the construction of a high rise in Chicago] and Jen’s looking for someone whose lifestyle isn’t so similar to Andrew’s. She thinks Bill is a great guy, but she feels like she has been there and done that." When Rancic was approached about the romance, he reportedly said, "Jen’s a wonderful girl, but obviously I’ve got my plate pretty full."

No word on whether or not Bill’s Apprentice opponent Amy Henry may have had anything to do with the ended-before-it-began romance between Rancic and Scheft. It seems that Rancic and Henry were seen making out last week at Sushi Samba in New York. The two were reportedly spotted getting very cozy at a secluded spot on the roof of the restaurant and left shortly thereafter. It was rumored that Henry romanced (and according to another Apprentice contestant – bedded) Rancic and their opponent Nick Warnock. It seems Rancic is too busy for a full-blown relationship, but he sure can fit in a fling or two.
