Bachelor Bob Guiney Engaged

Guiney proposed last Thursday and Budig reportedly showed off her new "bling" at the Daytime Emmy Awards on Friday. Guiney helped design the two-carat diamond ring for Budig and the two are set to appear on The View on Wednesday to show off the ring. Guiney met Budig, who stars as "Greenlee" on the soap opera All My Children, when she hosted a "Bachelor" wrap up show on ABC Family called "Bachelor XYZ."

Despite the fact that Guiney chose to give his Bachelor "promise ring" to "lucky lady" Estella Gardinier, he ultimately fell for Budig. The two have been enjoying a romance since they went public in January. Guiney reportedly dumped Gardinier as soon as his obligation to The Bachelor was over and immediately after the pair attended the December 10 wedding of Bachelorette Trista Ryan and Ryan Sutter. Sources at the wedding say that Guiney flirted with every woman there except Gardinier. Gardinier did say that Guiney broke up with her via telephone after the wedding citing his busy schedule promoting his book and solo CD 3Sides. Clearly, it was his CD that required most of his time. Gardinier said, "He’s not the person I thought he was." Obviously.

Apparently, despite his busy schedule, he has made room for Budig. No word yet on when the happy couple will say ‘I Do.’ This will be the second trip down the aisle for both Budig and Guiney. With Guiney’s 15 minutes of fame already being stretched to the limit, it would probably be a good idea for the couple to act quickly.
