The Spelling Feud
Tori Spelling, in what seemed like five minutes after the death of her father, has come out to talk about her family feud.

Spelling has spilled her guts to US Weekly. The magazine is set to hit newsstands Friday, but portions of the interview were posted on the web a mere five days after Aaron Spelling’s death. Tori details the feud between she and her mother, Candy, and says that she learned of her father’s death via a friend. Tori says she was in Canada when she received news of her father’s death from her BlackBerry. Said Tori, "A friend of mine had seen a TV report, and emailed me. And I was just in total shock." She went on to say, "My first thought was, I can’t believe my mom didn’t call me!"
Tori now says she feels "betrayed" and feels that she was not told how sick her father really was. She reportedly blames her mother for not being able to say good-bye to her father. Tori said, "I was led to believe he had more time. And so I never said good-bye. The last time I saw him it was sort of a good-bye, but not a formal one. I just didn’t know. Honestly, I believe 100 percent that (he was holding on for me). And part of me knew as soon as I saw him that he would start to let go." Tori has been estranged from her family for some time now. Ever since her divorce from first husband Charlie Shanian and her whirlwind romance with now hubby Dean McDermott. There were also reports that her parent’s were less than thrilled about her poking fun at her mother on her new show So NoTORIous. Tori denies that either of these things had to do with the estrangement and has reportedly revealed that she was on good terms with her father, just not her mother.
Tori said, "My Mom’s behavior simply made me uncomfortable to be around my family." She is reportedly referring to the fact that she is upset with her mother for "spending time" with a family friend while her father’s health was on the decline. Candy Spelling has slammed the rumors. Tori and family had not seen each other since September, but she and hubby McDermott met with the elder Spelling on June 11 just seven-days before he passed away. She says that she was "over the moon" to see her father and her husband meet for the first time. She says the last words her father spoke to her over the phone were, "I love you, babe."
