Only a Loan

A reminder that He owns all and it is only loaned to us.
The air I breathe, food I eat,

Clothing on my back,

Roof over my head,

The myriad blessings

That You have bestowed

Are only a loan.

Not mine due to effort

That I have made,

Or the sweat of my brow.

You own all, and in Your grace

Have loaned me for a time.
