Darkness Consumes

Darkness Consumes
I can't see
My eyes are blurred
By tears that have a mind of their own
I shouldn't feel this was
I can't
I don't want to
But I feel as if
Crying is a sin
Nothing can hold back the pain
That torments me
Night and day
I have to see crimson red
I have to feel slippery nothingness
But that’s on a path I'd rather not go
It's scary at first
But why would I not go?
I see nothing
I feel nothing
I care about nothing
This is my everyday life
This is how it goes
I want to see darkness
Taking me away
I want to see black
Slithering this way
Death is all I deserve
It's all that'll have me
