No Fancy House

I wrote this poem/song when the pain from my back injuries was severe. The outdoors was beckoning to me but the pain was too great.
I won’t need a fancy house
When I get to heaven
For I won’t be staying inside.
I’ll be happy, I’ll be free
There will be no pain for me
And I won’t be staying inside.

I won’t need a fancy house
When I get to heaven
For I won’t be staying inside.
I’ll be barefoot in the clouds
Singing clear and singing loud
And I won’t be staying inside.

I won’t need a fancy house
When I get to heaven
For I won’t be staying inside.
I’ll be happy, I’ll be free
There will be no pain for me
And I won’t be staying inside.

I won’t need a fancy house
When I get to heaven
For I won’t be staying inside.
I’ll be sailing through the air
A breeze blowing in my hair,
And I won’t be staying inside.

I won’t need a fancy house
When I get to heaven
For I won’t be staying inside.
I’ll be happy, I’ll be free
There will be no pain for me
And I won’t be staying inside.

I won’t need a fancy house
When I get to heaven
For I won’t be staying inside.
Just give me room for my knees
And let the Son shine on me
And I won’t be staying inside.

I won’t need a fancy house
When I get to heaven
For I won’t be staying inside.
I’ll be happy, I’ll be free
There will be no pain for me
And I won’t be staying inside.
