The Ringing

Just how I felt after I thought I’d forever lost the love of my life…
Ringing in my goddamned ears while I scream at these f*cking walls...
Almost impossible to see through the salt in my eyes...
Hate dried and caked around the gaping hole in my chest...
I cannot find the strength to speak over the taste of rust in my throat...
The smell of regret overwhelming me...
I just wanted to make you happy...
Thought I heard the ring again...
Just in my head.

You’ve got someone else to call...
This is too much...
To watch, to take in at once...
Just too much...
She’s happy...
That’s what you want, isn’t it?...
You hypocrite
