Paris Hilton and Nick Carter on the Rocks

Is the relationship between hotel heiress and amateur porn star Paris Hilton and Backstreet Boy Nick Carter on the rocks?
Sources recently reported that the romance between Paris Hilton and Nick Carter was over and that he had begun secretly seeing Ashlee Simpson, younger sister of Jessica Simpson, while Paris was filming the second season of her hit show 'The Simple Life'. Paris Hilton recently stated, "We never broke up!" A source close to Carter did reveal, "They’ve recently hit a rough patch…They’re figuring things out. They want to make it work."

Only recently the two had a huge fight at a Hollywood club. Paris Hilton was left alone and in tears after Nick Carter stormed out. A witness said, "She was crying in the corner and people were trying not to look." Reportedly, her ex-fiancée Jason Shaw was there and lent a shoulder for the distraught socialite. The two left together after her bodyguard suggested they leave.

For someone who supposedly has it all she has recently hit a number of snags. Of course, there was the infamous release of the homemade sex tape she made with former boyfriend Rick Salamon. The release of the video seemed to tame some of Paris’ wild ways, but not for very long. Soon after she got over her embarrassment, she returned to her outrageous behavior. Then there were reports of her strained relationship with best friend and Simple Life co-star Nicole Richie. Reportedly, their friendship ended over a number of arguments they had during the taping of the second season of their show. Now who really knows what is really going on with her and Carter? Regardless of the situation, I’m sure Paris will be grabbing celebrity headlines for a long time to come.
