Madonna & Gwyneth Feud

Sources say that Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow’s friendship is on the rocks following a feud about the Kabbalah religion.
It has been reported that good friends Madonna and new mother Gwyneth Paltrow have ended their friendship after a row about religion. After the birth of Paltrow’s first child, Apple Blythe Alison Martin, Madonna called Paltrow to congratulate her and reportedly tried to convert her to the Jewish faith, Kabbalah. Paltrow and hubby rocker Chris Martin of Coldplay fame refused to convert, angering Kabbalah fanatic Madonna.

According to a source, "Madonna barely congratulated Gwyneth on Apple before she was going on and on about Kabbalah. She said that now that Gwyneth was a mom, the time was right for her to join. But Gwyneth just doesn’t want to get involved and told her that in no uncertain terms." Apparently, Madonna took offense to Paltrow’s lack of interest and the two are no longer speaking.

Madonna is an active believer in the Kabbalah faith and has converted many of her friends, including Britney Spears and Demi Moore. Moore has reportedly converted her boy toy Ashton Kutcher into the mystic Jewish faith. It has been rumored that Spears has tried to hide her interest in the faith from her overprotective mother. During concerts, Spears has removed the red bracelet that signifies her Kabbalah faith so her mother does not know the extent of her involvement in the religion. Spears’ mother, Lynne, fears that the leaders of Kabbalah are interested in a portion of Spears’ income. Has Kabbalah become as cult-like to the stars as Scientology? Or is it just another "cool" thing for those that are famous to claim to be a part of? I wear a red bracelet and practice Kabbalah – therefore I am?
