Spice Girls Reunion?
Scary Spice a.k.a. Melanie Brown is reportedly the only person standing in the way of a Spice Girls reunion, according to Bob Geldof.

Apparently, miracles do exist…we are only one Spice Girl away from a full-fledged reunion of one of the most talented all-girl bands of all time. Be still my beating heart. It has been reported that four of the oh so fabulous Spice Girls have signed on to appear at Bob Geldof’s Live 8, a benefit concert to raise awareness of Third World problems. Reportedly, Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham, Emma "Baby Spice" Bunting, Melanie "Sporty Spice" Chisholm, and Geri "Ginger Spice" Halliwell have all agreed to reunite for the cause. The only ingredient missing would be Melanie "Scary Spice" Brown who is holding out reportedly because she is working on a project in California.
Geldof recently appeared on the television show Richard & Judy, Britain’s answer to Live with Regis & Kelly and said that "Scary" was having "difficulty going back to something she did in the past. I'll call her during the week and if she can't do it, she can't do it." Geldof did say that if Brown declined the invitation, she would not be replaced. Said Geldof, "It’s got to be all or nothing."
The girls burst onto the scene in 1995 with hit singles including "Wannabe." They enjoyed international fame until Halliwell bitterly left the group. They didn’t seem to have as much luck as a quartet and their subsequent solo careers have been less than stellar. If they do decide to reunite, they will join the likes of Madonna, Dave Matthews Band, Stevie Wonder, U2, and Coldplay to name a few in concerts from London to Philadelphia to Toronto. Now come on, Mel, what else do you really have going on?
