Being Bobby Brown
R & B star Bobby Brown a.k.a. Mr. Whitney Houston is starring in the new reality show Being Bobby Brown on Bravo.

Why would Bobby Brown want to star in a reality show you ask? Well, he claims it is because he needs something to distract him and keep him off drugs and that he wants to "clean up his image" for his four children. Brown said, "I needed to do something to stay out of trouble. Too much free time ain’t good for someone like me. And now that I’m feeling healthy and off the drugs and other stuff I was doing – I feel like getting myself back on track. But honestly, the main reason I wanted to do this is really for my kids. They’re always saying, ‘Daddy, why do they always make you look so bad in the press.’ You know? They don’t see their father as a screw-up."
No offense, but it isn’t the media’s fault that Brown looks so bad in the press…seems to be Brown’s fault. Just recently it was reported that Brown was demanding $1 million for an interview with a tabloid about his alleged indiscretions while his wife Whitney was in rehab. So maybe this whole reality show thing has more to do with a paycheck than about really keeping himself off drugs. But who knows? Maybe he really is off drugs and trying to get his life in order.
The show will debut on Bravo on June 30 and will be a series of eight half-hour episodes following Brown through his everyday life. The documentary-style series will show the relationships Brown shares with wife Whitney and their daughter Bobbi Kristina as well as his other children La Princia and Bobby, Jr. The show will follow Brown as he tries to resurrect his career. Lauren Zalaznick, president of Bravo, said, "Bobby Brown, by virtue of his music, fame and high profile family relationships, is a pop culture icon, whose life is played out in the media daily. This series deconstructs his public persona and provides a truly 360 degree look at what his private life is like."
