Britney Spears Engaged?
Sources say that pop tart Britney Spears is set to walk down the aisle again after agreeing to marry beau Kevin Federline.
Spears is reportedly living with the 26-year old dancer at her homes in New York and Beverly Hills. Federline stood by Spears after she canceled her Onyx Hotel tour following arthroscopic knee surgery. Federline reportedly popped the question to the once-married Spears who accepted his proposal. Spears stumbled down the aisle in Vegas for a drunken 55-hour wedding to childhood friend Jason Alexander. The marriage was quickly annulled, and Spears called it a "bad joke."
Now it seems that Spears is set to make it official with Federline. The two are reportedly saying "I Do" at Spears' Los Angeles home sometime this year. The romance between the two went public in April when they were photographed kissing on a beach in California. Since then, they have spent as much time together as possible and Spears even flew him around Europe to keep her company on tour. A source close to Brit says, "Britney is ecstatic. She has fallen head over heels for Kevin, but she wants to enjoy the moment in private. This time she wants to do things properly." Maybe she should skip the alcohol before this one.
It hasn't seemed to bother Spears that Federline dumped his eight-months-pregnant girlfriend and mother of his two-year old daughter, actress Shar Jackson, to be with her. Jackson reportedly said, "There are two kids. She (Britney) better be prepared to baby-sit. She also said, "Kevin wants to be a star, and now he is, but he lied to me, so blunt in my face." It seems that may be Federline is more enamored of Brit's fame than of her. If there in fact was an engagement, wonder who paid for the ring?
