Jennifer Lopez - A Latino Bombshell

Jennifer Lopez is one of the hottest stars who keep coming in news as a centre of attraction and keep people amazed with their presence live in air because of one or another reason. On July 24, 1969 in the Castle Hill section of the Bronx, Jennifer Lopez was born to a couple, David, who was a computer technician and Guadalupe, who taught in kindergarten. Jennifer has two sisters and she is the middle of three. Leslie, the elder sister of Jennifer who is a housewife, sings opera. Her younger sister, Lynda, is a DJ on New York's WKTU, a VH1 VJ., and a morning news show correspondent on a Channel in New York. Jennifer got related to singing and dancing right from her childhood, she took singing and dancing lessons from age 5. She attended 12 years of Catholic school, including an all-girl high school. Jennifer played softball and tennis in high school and was a gymnast.

She worked in a law office for a short time, but continued with her dance classes which she attended at night. She made a decision to leave home at the age of 18 to pursue show business. Jennifer moved to L.A. near 1990 with casting in a TV Show "In Living Color" as one of the "Fly girls" dancers. David Cruz was her boy friend during those days, he moved inn with her to L.A. It was a start of her career from "Living Color" and Jennifer never turned back since. At the movie wrap party for Selena on Oct 28 1996 in San Antonio, she was proposed by her boy friend Ojani during her performance on the dance floor and was presented with a large marquis-cut diamond ring, and Jennifer had accepted the proposal readily. In 1997, she was chosen by the "People" magazine as one of the 50 Most Beautiful People in the World. She then had a change in boy friend and dated musician ‘Puff Daddy’ during 1999-2001. She and Puffy were also said to be arrested by police in connection with night shooting club, but later Jennifer was released from jail after police dropped charges against her.

Jennifer has worked hard in the race to achieve success; she even slept in studio after her practice. She moved wherever she could learn how to improve herself in dance and singing. She moved to Manhattan to pursue the same quest. She worked with Janet Jackson in her videos and was with Janet on her tours. "On the 6" was her debut album which was a very big hit, and for which she probably took inspiration from the train that she used to board for Manhattan. Jennifer was the highest paid Latina(o) actress for her performance in "The Wedding Planner" (2001) and was paid about a million dollar for her role in "Selena" (2001). Jennifer had her movie "The Wedding Planner" and the music album as a big hit in the same week.

Jennifer met her first husband Cris Judd, a dancer and choreographer, while filming the music video for her single "Love Don’t Cost A Thing" and they were married soon. Jennifer has achieved many things in her career; she is the only woman to be voted the sexiest woman in the world twice in FHM (many other magazines also ranked her #1 sexiest singer and actress), she has been named as a top entertainer, voted the number one female body in "Celebrity Bodies" magazine, many of her albums were on top in public charts, she became only third actress to enter the $20 million club right after Julia Roberts and Cameron Diaz. Jennifer has her own style and her own rythm that make her fans go crazy.

After Cris Judd, Jennifer was engaged to boy friend Ben Affleck in October 2002. The relationship with Ben Affleck was the centre of attraction for media and fans from all over the world. Media kept following the pair wherever and whenever there was a chance. Jennifer even wrote a song "Dear Ben" which was about her fiancé Ben Affleck and to show how much she loved him. And in the end just like any other Hollywood pair, this pair too got separated. On 20 January 2004 the relationship between Ben and Jen ended up, they broke the engagement. The reason might be anything, but the official reason that came out was people are glamorizing the relationship more than what it should have. She secretly married with Marc Anthony on June 5th 2004, no guest knew that they are going to attend wedding. There are fumes of rumors that Jen got pregnant just before her third marriage which might be one reason that destroyed Jennifer’s new relationship with Mark Anthony. Now no one knows which shoulder JLo will seek next?
