Angelina Jolie & Nicolas Cage Romance

Hot on the heels of her recent divorce from husband #2, Angelina Jolie has reportedly sparked a new romance with freshly-divorced actor Nicolas Cage. Sources say the couple has shared a few "platonic" lunches over the past few weeks. The two reportedly both attended a black-tie event recently and ended up spending the entire night dancing and kissing. With both of their track records, it seems likely that they could end up married in the next few weeks and then divorced a few weeks after that.

Angelina Jolie married first husband, actor Jonny Lee Miller, in March of 1996; they were divorced less than three years later. Jolie and actor Billy Bob Thornton eloped in Las Vegas in May of 2000 and filed for divorce in July of 2002. The couple adopted a Cambodian baby, Maddox, and apparently BBT just couldn't handle the attention Jolie lavished on the baby. The divorce reportedly destroyed Jolie, while Thornton partied on with women younger than Angelina Jolie. Nicolas Cage hasn’t had that much luck with marriage either. He was married to actress Patricia Arquette in April of 1995. They split nine months later but spent five years acting very married. They filed for divorce, reconciled, and then finally divorced. Nicolas Cage then went on to wed Lisa Marie Presley in August 2002 only to file for divorce 108 days later.

If the rumors are true about Angelina Jolie and Nicolas Cage, it might be fun just to see how their relationship progresses. Each is known to be rather eccentric and recognized for their bizarre behavior. Maybe they will tame each other and surprise the world by surviving in the bizarre realm of Hollywood.
