Eric Lindros -- The act is getting old
Hockey season is finally over and the Stanley Cup is vacationing in Denver, but one thing hasn't changed. Eric Lindros is still looking for a place to hang his skates. Will he play again?

I don't know about you, but I'm getting just a little bit tired of the "Eric hates the Flyers a lot" saga. I'm tired of him whining that he only wants to play for Toronto.
Didn't we go through this saga last year? I understand how he feels about his health, seeing as his brother Brett was forced to retire from the Islanders due to recurring concussions.
But Eric's saga is getting really stale. Granted, any team would love to have a scorer and a banger like him, but who needs the headaches? (Pardon the pun.)
Who's to say Eric won't be happy in the land of the Maple Leaf? Will he want to go somewhere else if he's not happy in Toronto?
Didn't he do the same thing as a rookie with the Quebec Nordiques? (HELLO ERIC! You would have not ONE -- but TWO -- Stanley Cups by now!)
Eric and his agent, Carl, who just happens to be his father, seem to think "baby Eric" is the second coming of Mario and Wayne. Don't think so. You can't dictate where you want to play if you haven't paid your dues in the hockey world and Eric, you haven't won anything yet, you're always getting sick!
Eric, do all of us who love the game of hockey a favor. Quit while you still have the brains the good Lord gave you. Your "I want to play where I want to" act is getting old.
