Days of Waiting

Just a poem about how much I love my love and what our nights together mean to me...
Days spent waiting for precious nights,
When hearts start racing, logic takes flight,
One look and I'm there at your side,
Waiting for you to see the tears I have cried,
To wipe them away so hard and with such care,
That it'll feel as though they were never there!
Your lips touch mine and I'm there again,
Starting off here but I still see the end!
You're the one who'll make a rose within thorns,
The one whose there when each smile is born,
The moon watches us with caring eyes,
And everytime the sun arrives it cries,
Because that means the end of all our love,
With the darkness, passion floats above...
