My Jes
This is a poem for my daughter…
The story begins here
2006 is the year
The year I left your father
To stay I wish I’d rather
The love we once had had gone
I’m sorry but he just was not the one
Our love for you has never changed
And tried to make you feel no pain
I miss you as the time goes by
And endlessly try not to cry
I hate it that you’re not with me
To stay with your father happy you'll be
I see you but twice a week
When I do my eyes they leek
I hope you don’t hate me
I think it’s for the best
This is for you
My daughter
