I ask you
what is wrong with people
you talk to them

and at first their all nice and sweet
but later on you discover what truly is inside
something dark and mingy

something that nobody wants
but no matter how hard you try
they still ignore you

but years later
you can't help it
but then you realize you've fallen in love with them

you cry either in disgust or agony
knowing they will never return your love
what do you do, what else

prove to them your worth it
and if all else fails
I really don't suggest this
but hurt yourself until they care

remember you swore this to yourself
I will love you for better or worse
and in sickness and health

I ask you
