Madness

This is a really random poem and I didn't think much when I was writing it, please let me know if this style of writing is and good!! About depression or insanity.
A shining sun,
A setting star,
What a thought,
I had it all.

Beauty and madness,
Senseless and caring,
Blind but seeing,
It’s always there.

Happens when it’s falling,
Feet don’t touch the ground,
Pulling you upward,
Yet letting you drown.

Trying to save you,
Makes you slip further,
No sense in reason,
Insanity takes over.

A world of laughter,
Spinning on the ceiling,
Skies on the ground,
No thought of falling.

Slowly letting go,
Slowly coming back,
Not sure of where to turn,
This has to be the way.

Living life in horror,
Of the madness,
Which is to come,
Smiling has faded.

No more tears now,
Calming down,
Is not an option,
It’s fighting back.

Time must leave us,
Keep us close,
But leave us still,
And no one knows.
