Inside the Outsiders Outside the Insiders
A poem about the lonely and hopeless delusion of individuality.
We reason without reason,
Our madness knows no bounds
Ours is a different season
Running from the hounds
We seek in the gloom
That sweet light
That permeates the night
Wither song.
We seek in the gloom
That single light
That quiets the doom
That possesses the silence
That quiets the room
Of abstract song.
We seek her, we seek her.
She smiles in the sea of sadness
And laughs in the rivers of sorrow
She dreams in the land of no tomorrow
And aches in the heart of stone.
We seek her, we seek her.
We seeker.
We seek.
We see.
We sea.
Our madness knows no bounds
Ours is a different season
Running from the hounds
We seek in the gloom
That sweet light
That permeates the night
Wither song.
We seek in the gloom
That single light
That quiets the doom
That possesses the silence
That quiets the room
Of abstract song.
We seek her, we seek her.
She smiles in the sea of sadness
And laughs in the rivers of sorrow
She dreams in the land of no tomorrow
And aches in the heart of stone.
We seek her, we seek her.
We seeker.
We seek.
We see.
We sea.
