In Me

This poem is about a powerful avatar, who has just been reborn, and lost his memories. But has now regained them, taking revenge on all who have tried to abuse of his power.
Power hidden
Power lost
Power wanted
By them all

They tried before
They will try again
No matter what
It’ll never end

The only thing that is left
The only thing that I got
Only I can posses
Only I can have

You may all try
But in the end you’ll fail
You may all try
But there is nothing else

In the corner of my mind
In the shadows of doubt
Did I do the right thing?
Or was I wrong?

In the corner of my mind
In the shadows of doubt
Have I won?
Or has my darkness prevailed?

God, I’ve never asked for help,
God, I’m begging you myself
The one who fell
The one who chose to forget

But I remember now
I remember well
I know what I am
I know why I fell

Do you know why?
Here it is;
What I am is forgotten
I am all, I am nothing

They used me,
Then abandoned me
I am dying now…
I’m going down.

So help me now,
Take me in your hands
And welcome me back
And let the shadows fall…
