Opened Heart

The extraordinary love and bond between a mother and her sons.
You came into my life

And opened my heart.

You filled me with a love

So deep it was past understanding.

Part of me, yet separate,

Flesh of my flesh.

Love burned deep into my heart

And opened a passage wide.

At that moment I knew

That I would live forever

And leave a mark upon the world

Through you, my sons.

You are my wealth beyond counting.

Utterly blessed am I,

And beloved by God

For Him to give me such treasure.
