At Friday’s world premiere of Jennifer Lopez’s latest movie Monster-in-Law many PETA protestors showed up carrying posters showing Lopez sporting a mink and the caption "Monster-in-Fur." The protestors also handed out DVDs that featured images of La Lopez wearing fur intermingled with images of animals being skinned alive. PETA president Ingrid E. Newkirk, said in a statement, "To animals killed for their fur, Jennifer Lopez is the ‘monster.’ She may be able to get the images of bloody, skinned foxes still alive and breathing out of her head, but we doubt that her fans who watch this video will."

According to the PETA created website JLoDown.com, Lopez is very educated in the fur business. The site said, "J.Lo knows what animals who are killed for their skins endure – PETA has contacted her with letters and videos no less than a dozen times." Lopez did not seem overly concerned about the protestors when she arrived on the red carpet with hubby Marc Anthony by her side. When she was asked by reporters what she thought of the PETA demonstration, she reportedly replied, "I don’t." Apparently, she hasn’t thought much about their letters or videos either.

Animal lover Pamela Anderson mentioned Lopez in the latest issue of Jane magazine. Said Anderson, "Every season the furriers put propaganda everywhere that fur is taking off again and they give free coats to idiots like Jennifer Lopez. People who wear fur smell like a wet dog and they look fat and gross." Now, Pammy, how do you really feel?
