For A Girl

For A Girl…she died in front of me and my friends, I'll never forget it, and I didn't even like her, but it still hurts…
You realize I did this for you
And I keep thinking
What did you do?
He was hurt too
He stood at the doors, turning to go
I touched his shoulder gently
Taking him away, you should’ve seen his face
He was crying

You thought you won me over
You thought you killed my soul
The truth for you is sold
You sold yourself
You died a lie

You realize I liked you
Sometimes I did
Others, I couldn’t stand you
Laughing and talking
Like nothing was ever going to happen
You knew you were leaving
You knew you were dead
But you laughed all the same
Something’s wrong with your head

We all watched you leave
He cried to the world
He couldn’t bare to see you
Lying there so still
He didn’t say a word, cried the whole night through
I was there for him

I feel so sad and worried that I didn't say goodbye
I feel unhappy, guilty
I was there for him when he fell
He didn’t even look
into your eyes once more
He died inside
you hurt him more
How could you do that to him?

What a selfish way to die...
