The Women

An exercise in alliteration and discourse on the life of a woman.
Chattering, nattering,
Pattering in the nursery
The babes are playing gaily today.
Free, fair fun for the family.

Gamboling, rambling,
Ambling over the lawn
The girls are playing today.
Watch what winsome ways.

Walking, talking
Gawking at the boys
The teens are flirty today,
Airy, admiration and adult ease.

Snickering, bickering,
Nickering in the parlor
The old women are cross today.
Grieving grandpas long in the grave.
