The Valley

When life gets hard let it it out in words.
There are days when the sun shines not;
No light upon the valley floor.
The heart is heavy, the back bowed,
The head bends beneath the weight.
How can love die, just fade away?
Life can be so burdensome.
Let the clouds pass, the light come through.
Mend the broken hearted, Lord I pray.
The men, women and the children
Of every day divorces, with a look
Of shock upon their faces.
What can heal them?
Only the almighty God.
