Henin-Hardenne, the 2003 winner at Roland Garros, missed most of last season with glandular fever but she has returned to good health and now finds herself with a 22-match winning streak.
Next up for the Belgian is a showdown with Sharapova's Russian compatriot Nadia Petrova, who won her quarter-final over Ana Ivanovic 6-2, 6-2.
