Dry Tears

Going back to someone after they hurt you and for once, there's no regrets!
The tears have faded down my face,
But they've left a little sting,
For every time you kiss my cheeks,
I feel a sore little something,

Working hard to form the tears,
You knew exactly what to do,
She was nothing more than a girl,
I was love so true,

But you decided you'd mess it up,
Cause a little chaos and hurt,
Rip my heart out just to stick it back in,
Make me feel like dirt,

You kept saying how you loved me,
Did you say the same to her?
You'd repeat all the plans we had,
Remember all the days that were,

But inside I knew that it was wrong,
That I shouldn't play victim to your creep,
But at my core I wanted more,
That feeling ran more deep.

So off course I returned to your embrace,
And now I have no regrets,
You no longer love any but me,
You still take away all my frets...
